Zakynthos, island of big contrasts for the presence of golden beaches and massive rocky coasts. The Venetians called Zante Fiore di Levante, the Flower of the East (as there are over 7,000 species of flowers), and its nobility and fertility made it the jewel of their empire.
Housing the world-famous Navagio (Shipwreck) beach and the endangered sea turtle species Caretta Caretta, Zakynthos (or Zante) is among the most popular and most beautiful islands in Greece. The exotic island boasts spectacular nature, beaches, and villages and it is located in the Ionian Sea.
Valory’s Houses
Valory’ Houses is a complex of two country-style, stone houses, located in the beautiful area of Vasilikos. There are two totally independent residences, the Tower and the Stone House, that are built entirely out of local stone and wood, providing a warm and ‘homey’ feeling.

Village of Vassilikos
Vasilikos is the most beautiful part of the island. Some of the most amazing beaches are located here; Saint Nikolaos, Plaka and Banana but also the famous Gerakas beach, which is part of the protected National Marine Park of Zakynthos.
Some of the best restaurants are also located in the area, offering the local cuisine under the live sounds of the heart-warming local serenades, the famous Greek ‘kantades’.
